The Women’s Museum

The Womens Museum was opened in 2020 with the intention of recreating and explaining the life of Tossa before the beginning of tourism and its transformation, always from the place occupied by women. The building that hosts this museum is a lovely exemple of a 16th. century farmhouse.

Lighthouse’s museum

Built in 1917 in the highest part of Tossa’s Cape, it is currently the headquarters of the new museum project “Tossa’s Lighthouse. A century of maritime history on the Costa Brava“, a reference space for anyone interested in obtaining a profound insight into the world of lighthouses.

Saturday: 10:00 – 16:00  h

Municipal Museum

It occupies the former residence of the batlle de sac,  that is to say the governor, and preserves an important collection of art and a large part of the archaeological finds of the Roman villa of Els Ametllers.
