Journey through mountainous countryside, situated right in the middle of the Cadiretes massif (PEIN), a landscape where the Mediterranean flora prevails and where you can also enjoy incredible views of the coast and the interior. It is worth reaching the summit of Cadiretes (not on the itinerary), which offers an excellent perspective of a large part of the region and its surroundings. It is a difficult climb with steep slopes, not for faint hearted. The descent can be dangerous and part of the route shares cycle paths with other routes.<\/p>\n

As in cycle path number 1, which shares part of the route, this one crosses the Cadiretes massif. This route, however, is less demanding and alternates between stretches with ascents and descents of steep slopes and stretches which are practically flat and easy to ride, that help you recover some strength. From time to time the paths which are closed in by the vegetation of the littoral mountains give way to clearings which allow you to see excellent panoramic coastal views.<\/p>\n

This itinerary that practically everyone is capable of, is the most accessible route from Tossa de Mar. The unevenness of the ground is not hazardous and the landscape is quite varied: crops, small plots of Mediterranean forest, riverside forests and littoral streams.<\/p>\n
