Tossa’s seafaring origins have left us the legacy of boat cuisine, prepared on board the trawlers and the teranyines (local night fishing vessels) when fishers had to spend long hours at sea.

One of the boat dishes with the strongest ties to the fishers of Tossa and the local traditional cuisine is “cim i tomba”.

The restaurants of the Associació de Cuina Tradicional Tossenca offer throughout the month of September a special menu with a first course, the cim i tomba as a second course and dessert.

Restaurants that take part on this campaign: Bahia, Can Carlus, Can Pini, Castell Vell, El Petit, L’Ajustada, Minerva, Sa Barca, Sa Muralla, Tursia, Víctor, Victòria.
